Whangarei Maritime Festival 2025

Join us for a weekend of waterfront celebration in the heart of Whangārei’s Town Basin! The Whangārei Maritime Festival returns for its third year, bringing together tall ships, hands-on maritime discoveries, boat tours, local food, inspiring talks, music, and family-friendly activities.

This free event is a vibrant showcase of our harbour city’s connection to the sea — past, present, and future. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just love the ocean vibe, there’s something here for everyone.
