As a Beagle DJ you’re part of a group of people who actively support and contribute to our community. We’re serious about our tunes and love discovering new sounds across any genre — especially the kind you won’t hear on commercial radio. We’re here to offer something different.

We’re currently inviting expressions of interest from people who feel aligned with our kaupapa. You don’t need radio experience (sometimes it’s better if you don’t), but you do need to value community, creativity and consistency. We welcome people of all ages and especially value diverse voices, including student and youth-led shows.

Before reaching out, it’s worth checking our current schedule to see where you might fit.

If you’re keen, fill out the contact form and tell us a bit about yourself — what you’d like to share, the kind of show you’re imagining, and why Beagle feels like your kind of place.

If it feels like a good fit on both sides, you’ll go through our proper onboarding training, followed by a buddy system to support you as you get comfortable on air.

Beagle works best when the people behind the mic are here for the right reasons — good tunes, good humans, good community.

Membership and Fees

Please note; If you are wanting to become a DJ we have a standard membership fee for adults of $25 per month. However we allow for different financial circumstances that we can discuss with your if you wish to become a DJ.
