Spend the evening at Wānanga Whakatupu Mātauranga | Whangārei Central Library where you can explore He Puawānanga and the new He Kākano collection of things.
Listen to tales and waiata on Puanga Matariki, stories and music about rest, transformation and the power of community and remembrance. Create lanterns and light and join the mini lantern parade around the library.
Enjoy arts activities, library tours, the Typorium, book groups and more. Snuggle up with your whānau and a hot drink from the No.7 Espresso Café or play a board game.
Or just pick a book, find your favourite cozy reading nook and experience… the Night Library!
