Celebrate the Māori New Year with a month-long programme of creativity, culture, and community at the Town Basin.

Enjoy exhibitions, interactive activities, and a Matariki colouring competition for all ages – reflecting themes of whānau, unity, environment, and identity.
Come together, reflect, create, and celebrate the season of Matariki with us.
